This role will manage comprehensive partnership tax and accounting functions, including coordinating Form 1065 preparation and reviewing partnership returns for accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

Coordinate Form 1065 preparation with CPA firms
Reconcile tax returns to GAAP financials (M-1 & M-2)
Review partnership tax returns for accuracy and compliance
Maintain and reconcile accounting records
Prepare and distribute K-1s and 1099s
Assist with property tax exemptions, insurance claims, budgets, audits, and lender draws
Support tenant and applicant income verification compliance
Participate in cost segregation studies and tax credit opportunities
Respond to investor questions regarding K-1s

Qualification

Partnership taxationPreparing 1065s & K-1sAdvanced Excel skillsReal estate knowledgeBachelor’s in AccountingCPA/EA certificationProperty management knowledgeInsurance concepts knowledgePartnership tax experience

Required

Strong understanding of partnership taxation
Experience preparing 1065s & K-1s
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIF, INDEX, etc.)
Knowledge of real estate, property management, and insurance concepts
Bachelor's in Accounting or Law required
2+ years of partnership tax experience
