Responsibilities
Direct unit IT support staff personnel to include staffing, formulation and assignment of goals, performance assessment and employee development
Formulate unit IT budget and manage related expenditures
Oversee ongoing review of unit information needs and formulate and implement plans required to meet those needs
Coordinate/communicate unit IT plans, programs and activities with OIT as appropriate
May serve as unit representative on campus-wide information technology advisory groups
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science Computer Engineering or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
8+ years of relevant experience, including 4+ years of supervisory knowledge
Working knowledge of unit level information technology infrastructure including related software and hardware
Skills in strategic planning, budget formulation and management, management of technical professionals, oral and written communication, IT policy development and administration, project management, process engineering/reengineering, relational database administration and application of performance metrics
