The Business Data Applications Analyst will play a critical role in integrating systems, exploring AI technologies, and enhancing decision-making to create tangible business impact.

Responsibilities
Work across business applications and data platforms to enable integration, automation, and efficiency
Lead projects to centralize and leverage data (e.g., bringing Sage and Allvue data into Snowflake)
Explore, design, and implement AI-driven use cases, including the use of ChatGPT, to modernize workflows and enhance decision-making
Identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation across the firm’s operations
Serve as a bridge between business needs and technology solutions, providing practical guidance on what should be solved internally vs. with external consultants
Continuously research and experiment with emerging tools to keep the firm ahead of the curve
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of application and data integration
Hands-on experience with automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, APIs, workflow automation)
Knowledge of and practical experience using AI/LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT) to solve business problems
Ability to work in an exploratory, solutions-focused manner, with a high level of autonomy
Strong problem-solving mindset—able to evaluate when to build, buy, or bring in external expertise
Curious and entrepreneurial; thrives in ambiguity and enjoys 'figuring things out.'
Practical and solutions-oriented with a strong sense of ownership
Strong communicator who can bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders
Excited by the opportunity to help transform and modernize a business
Preferred
Experience with data platforms (Snowflake preferred)
Familiarity with financial systems (e.g., Sage, Allvue)
