Responsibilities
Lead the research, prototyping, and development of software solutions for retail problems
Evaluate and grow techncial talent throughout R&D, with a focus on subject matter expertise
Represent R&D in cross-functional meetings with other technical teams
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and learn new technologies/libraries/frameworks
Learn and partner with peers across multiple disciplines, such as computer vision, machine learning, and systems design
Deliver on time with a high bar on quality of research, innovation and engineering
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience working in a technical role, with 1 to 2 years in a senior technical role
3+ years of experience building apps, digital products, hardware, or machine learning systems
React, node, angular, typescript, AWS
2+ years of experience reviewing and refining architecture and conducting code reviews
2+ years of experience leading a team of engineers in a technical lead capacity
Familiarity with cloud-based architectures
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering/Math, or relevant experience
Preferred
Experience delivering production quality systems leveraging emerging technologies
