Responsibilities
Repair or replace outlets, switches, breakers, and GFCIs
Install and test smoke/CO detectors
Verify operability of lighting, fans, and hardwired appliances
Document compliance with electrical safety requirements
Assist the generalist with basic turn duties when electrical work is complete
Qualification
Required
Journeyman or equivalent electrical training preferred
Experience in multifamily or residential maintenance
Familiarity with HUD/NSpire standards a plus
Preferred
California state electrician certification or journeyman license
Experience with multifamily housing electrical systems
Familiarity with HUD/NSpire inspection requirements
Training in energy-efficient lighting or smart-home systems
Ability to cross-train in HVAC or appliance repair
