Responsibilities

Assists in the day-to-day execution of floor schedule at TA-55, specifically within PF-4, PF-5, and other nuclear areas as needed
Assists production with the integration and coordination of various support resources
Attendance at daily scheduling meetings for coordination and release of work
Support quality checks on schedules and log issues as needed
Support incident and general issues management investigations and reporting
Communicate and resolve housekeeping and transient combustible program violations through coordination with the TA-55 resident groups
Ensure floor work performed is in accordance with the scheduling protocols, execution procedures, and production priorities established by the ALDWP leadership team
Support communication between work owning organizations, area controllers, and OIC management
Ensure compliance with safety/security requirements and take the necessary steps to stop work if continuing a job is unsafe or compromises security

Required

Proven adherence to policies and procedures
Clear, effective verbal and written communication
Ability to wear required PPE (e.g., respiratory protection, safety glasses, anti-contamination clothing)
Ability to obtain Laboratory Area Controller certification and a Q clearance; position may be subject to HRP
Experience in radiological areas (implementing controls, frequent RCA entry/egress, current/past Rad Worker qualification); or
Some college math/science and experience in procedural adherence or supervision
Position requires an associate's degree in a relevant field and two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation
DOE Order 426.2A: Requires a High School Diploma
Ability to lift 50 pounds and carry 35 pounds; Reading vision; Peripheral Vision, Depth Perception; Ability to speak; Ability to hear in a normal range (500 to 3000 htz). Ability to sit, crawl, stand, walk, run, and climb; in addition to reaching overhead, horizontally, and down; Free from chronic wounds or chronic rashes which disrupt the integrity of the skin that would prevent safe entry into controlled areas; Ability to use stairways, fixed ladders, and ladders up to six feet. Must be physically able to work in demanding environments

Preferred

Active DOE 'Q' clearance
Radiological Worker
Familiar with LANL policies, practices, and procedures
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF software products
