Manager of Business Analysts

Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Analysts to ensure high-quality delivery, professional growth, and continuous improvement
Establish and maintain BA methodologies, standards, and best practices across projects
Oversee resource allocation, workload management, and performance evaluations for the BA team
Partner with business and technology leaders to define project scopes, objectives, and success metrics
Ensure business requirements are well-documented, traceable, and aligned with organizational strategy
Oversee the creation of business cases, feasibility studies, and impact analyses to support strategic initiatives
Support enterprise transformation initiatives through data analysis, process improvement, and solution design
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across departments to understand business needs and priorities
Serve as the escalation point for complex analysis challenges and stakeholder alignment issues
Communicate analytical findings, project updates, and recommendations clearly and effectively to executive audiences
Identify opportunities to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and enhance data-driven decision-making
Implement tools, templates, and frameworks to improve BA efficiency and documentation quality
Ensure compliance with governance, change management, and project management frameworks
Establish a community of practice for business analysts across the organization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field
7+ years of experience in business analysis or related roles, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or management capacity
Proven track record leading BAs in large-scale projects or transformation initiative
Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid environments
Experience establishing and managing business analysis best practices, standards, and methodologies (e.g., IIBA BABOK®, Agile Extension, or equivalent frameworks)
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities
Proficient in business process modeling, requirements management, and data analysis
Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, Power BI, Visio, or similar
Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and foster a collaborative team culture
Preferred
Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field
