Responsibilities

Generate revenue by responding to requests for proposals and sales leads and business relationships and proactive initiative
Contribute to business development through participation in industry forums
Identify current and future needs among our client base to pursue new or expanded work
Share subject matter expertise on technical issues, business development techniques, and/or project management skills with colleagues
Provide leadership, day-to-day direction, technical training and professional mentoring to colleagues in the practice
Actively collaborate with peers
Offer input on staffing needs to meet business demands and help with recruitment and on-boarding or new team members
Contribute to the development of innovative client solutions, including new plan design or implementation approaches
Promote brand awareness by writing articles and speaking publicly at industry events

Required

A minimum 15 years of relevant work experience with demonstration of prior career progression
Expert knowledge of executive compensation strategy, design, and implementation issues, including base pay, short- and long-term incentives and equity dilution management
Deep familiarity with corporate governance policies and trends, especially those related to SEC disclosure, ISS and Glass Lewis policies, and other technical areas impacting executive compensation
Proven track record of providing trusted advice to clients, understanding business problems, and providing potential solutions
Exceptional consultative skills, including relationship building, process definition and meeting facilitation
Advanced client, project, and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in a related field

Preferred

Recent executive compensation consulting experience within an executive compensation consulting boutique or full-service firm environment
A master's degree or MBA is preferred
