Arts of Life Volunteer Specialist, VISTA member
AmeriCorps is a national service program that engages individuals in community service. The Arts of Life Volunteer Specialist, VISTA member will work with staff to enhance volunteer and intern programs, focusing on recruitment, training, and community engagement.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement recruitment, application, onboarding, and training processes for volunteers and interns
Assist with volunteer and intern development, retention, and engagement
Identify organizational needs that can be filled by volunteers
Build partnerships with universities and recruitment sources
Maintain partner relationships
Create systems to track, evaluate, and recognize volunteers and interns
Develop calendars and check-ins
Support staff in sustaining volunteer and intern processes
Facilitate small group trainings and presentations
Help create a supportive, inclusive community that advances the professional and artistic growth of adult artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Qualification
Required
College graduate
Minimum age: 18
Communications skills
Community Organization skills
Art skills
Business/Entrepreneur skills
Ability to work with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Experience in volunteer management or community outreach
Proficiency in Google Workspace
