Piper Companies is seeking an IT Developer – Data Management to join a highly reputable investment management firm. This role will focus on developing scalable data solutions using low-code ETL tools, SQL, and Python to support their enterprise data warehouse and analytics ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Perform data profiling, source-to-target mappings, ETL (low-code) and/or Python development, SQL tuning, testing, and implementation
Contribute to data warehouse design decisions and recommend optimal structuring strategies to improve processing efficiency
Provide both business and technical analysis to support Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence initiatives
Develop detailed technical specifications and ETL documentation in collaboration with Data Warehouse Architects and BI Developers

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
3+ years of experience building data solutions and managing data movement
Advanced Python and SQL skills, with experience across Microsoft and Linux environments (required)
Experience with integration patterns (flat files, APIs/web services) and low-code ETL tools (required)
Solid understanding of data modeling and warehousing concepts is required (ER diagrams, normalization, dimensional modeling/ star schema)
Proven ability to write clear technical documentation and troubleshoot complex code
Ability to translate business needs into effective, value-driven technical solutions
