Responsibilities

Process high-volume invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Verify purchase orders, receipts, and vendor statements for accuracy
Reconcile vendor accounts and research discrepancies
Maintain AP aging reports and assist with month-end close
Prepare weekly check runs, ACH payments, and expense reimbursements
Communicate with vendors regarding payments, credits, and billing issues
Ensure compliance with company policies and internal accounting controls
Assist with accounts receivable when needed (payment posting, follow-up)
Support general ledger entries and account reconciliations
Maintain digital and physical filing systems for all financial documentation
Assist with financial reporting and audit preparation
Provide administrative support such as data entry, document formatting, and correspondence
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with professionalism

Qualification

Accounts payable experienceMicrosoft Excel proficiencyAccounting software knowledgeAttention to detailCustomer service skillsManage deadlinesConstruction experienceCommunication skillsOrganizational skills

Required

2–4 years of accounts payable or accounting experience
Strong understanding of invoice flow, purchase orders, and AP best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, etc.)
High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
Strong communication and customer service skills when working with vendors and internal teams
Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Preferred

Construction or roofing experience preferred but not mandatory
