GE Aerospace is seeking an Advanced Lead Engineer for the Advanced Repair Technology team, responsible for developing next-generation technologies for aerospace engines. The role requires executing advanced repair development projects while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

Execute multiple advanced repair development projects, advancing a variety of technologies through feasibility, business case assessment, process development, process qualification, and industrialization into repair facilities for new and updated processes

Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Maintains an awareness of the latest technical developments in multiple technology spaces

Use experience and good judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in the area of technology responsibility. Leverage an internal and external network to analyze problems and arrive at decisions

Develop working knowledge of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Achieves in-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college

Minimum of 3 years of Aerospace engineering/technology development experience
