Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable system architecture
Implement and maintain back-end services
Write, test, and review clean, efficient code
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated software solutions

Required

U.S. citizenship; a person born or naturalized in the United States
Successful approval by FEMA officials, which includes a federal background check that includes financial records and the ability to obtain a federal badge
Strong foundation in Computer Science
Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, Software Development, and Programming, with emphasis on Laravel PHP
Experience with Relational Databases (MySQL preferred)
Hands-on experience with Laravel queues
Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

Preferred

Experience in the insurance industry is a plus
