Prepare and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications across a range of technical fields
Develop, manage, and execute strategic global patent portfolios for clients
Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups on IP-related issues and cross-disciplinary matters
Conduct patentability, freedom-to-operate, and risk assessments; prepare related opinions
Provide strategic counseling on IP protection, enforcement, and portfolio optimization
Participate actively in business development and client relationship management efforts
Qualification
Required
J.D. from an accredited law school
Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office
7+ years of experience as a patent prosecution attorney
Technical background in electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, physics, or related fields
A moderate portable book of business
Demonstrated client service excellence and ability to grow and manage a practice
