Responsibilities
Know how to use git repository and install test SW and or restore the robot after use
Will need to be able to sort through code to help with troubleshooting
Will need to be comfortable with command line and Linux
Keep up-to date with the latest stable releases from the SW team
Maintain a strong understanding of System architecture
Will need to troubleshoot robots and mechatronics systems when having physical problems
Will need to preform Mechanical, Electronic, Motion control and Power systems maintenance
Will need to have a habit of documenting the unknown to make things easier for people to learn from what was tried and worked
Will be in-touch and at times working closely with both the hardware team and the software team
Qualification
Required
Demonstrates sustained attention to detail
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
Strong mechatronics background
Basic-to-intermediate coding skills
Basic knowledge of how Docker and docker-compose works
Basic knowledge of bash
Excellent diagnostic abilities
Clear communication style
Self-directed worker
Quick learner
System-level understanding
Basic understanding of networking
