WORKDAY SENIOR SYSTEM ARCHITECT
Western Digital is a company focused on powering global innovation through technology. They are seeking a Senior System Architect with expertise in Workday to lead the design and implementation of HR technology solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and stakeholder goals.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with HR business teams and Workday IT experts on system design decisions, user experience, complex issue resolution, and process design
Lead the design and implementation of Workday solutions to meet business needs, acting as a subject matter expert for various Workday modules. Conceptualize designs and end-to-end processes, providing expert guidance on best practices and system optimization
Provide technical leadership, drive Workday process enhancements, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure the architecture addresses all stakeholder concerns and enterprise-wide goals
Stay up-to-date on Workday releases and trends, identifying opportunities to improve the process of delivering solutions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor Degree in IT, Computer Science and/or equivalent
Business acumen: A strong understanding of HR business processes and how technology can be leveraged to improve them
Communication and collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders at different levels in the company and cross-functional teams
Deep Workday expertise: In-depth knowledge of Workday modules, such as Core HCM, Security, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Talent, and Payroll
Technical proficiency: Strong ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, including a strong understanding of Workday architecture, system logic and configuration
Problem-solving skills: Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and functional issues
Minimum 10 years of recent experience working on Workday for a global professional services environment, specifically in support of HR functions
Excel in translation technical solution that is meaningful to HR and leadership
Experience in project delivery framework practices, including agile, iterative and waterfall project delivery methodologies
Preferred
Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its subsets will be an added advantage
Good exposure of senior stakeholder management skills
