Responsibilities
Drafting and preparing Minor’s Compromise petitions
Filing documents with the court and handling corrections or resubmissions
Calendaring hearings and deadlines to avoid delays or missed appearances
Coordinating with accounting to ensure timely release of settlement checks
Communicating with clients, court clerks, and other involved parties as needed
Assisting with urgent, last-minute filings or court communications
Qualification
Required
1+ year of legal assistant or litigation support experience
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with court filing procedures and legal calendaring
Comfortable working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
Excellent communication skills
Preferred
PI experience highly preferred
Spanish speaking is a plus but not required
