Lecturer or Associate Lecturer, Civil, Environmental, and Construction Engineering
The University of Central Florida is seeking a full-time lecturer or associate lecturer in the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Construction Engineering. The primary responsibility includes teaching undergraduate courses in civil engineering and supporting the department's teaching mission.

Teaching undergraduate courses in civil engineering, including engineering science (e.g., Statics), core engineering (e.g., engineering economics), and transportation engineering (e.g., transportation analytics, urban systems design) courses
Assessment related activities
Service to the department
Teaching graduate courses in degree specialty to support the department
Qualification
Required
An earned doctorate in Civil Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution at the time of application
For the associate lecturer, a doctorate in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution and five years of experience as lecturer or equivalent at a four-year institution
Preferred
Prior university-level teaching experience
Previous engineering teaching experience with engineering mechanics and transportation courses
Possession of a Professional Engineering (PE) license in the United States
