Human Resources Business Partner (I, II)
Tuskegee University is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to serve as the primary point of contact for all HR related matters for assigned college(s) and division(s). The role involves strategic partnership with unit leadership, managing key HR functions, and ensuring the application of policies throughout the areas served.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with unit leadership and teams to develop strategies that drive productivity and growth
Assist with designing and implementing strategies to create a work environment where employees can thrive, enjoy their roles, and pursue growth opportunities
Work closely with assigned units to manage key HR functions such as talent acquisition, employee performance management, compensation and rewards, and career development
Analyze performance metrics, including employee retention and experience data, to identify areas for improvement and drive enhancements
Collaborate with assigned units to address and resolve workspace and employee relations issues
Assist with employee rewards and compensation policies to ensure competitiveness and fairness
Assist with understanding the employee life cycle and knowing how to engage with employees and managers in each stage of the employee life cycle
Work closely with assigned department units to ensure employees are entering into HRIS
Assist with creating and maintain standard human resources reports
Assist with succession planning and perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Two (2) years of human resources experience in two or more human resources functional area: benefits, compensation, employee relations, recruitment, and/or training
Extensive experience in senior HR roles, such as HR generalist, manager, or similar interactions
Proven experience working in a complex technology environment
Bachelor' degree in a relevant field. Master's degree preferred
Five (5) years of human resources experience in two or more human resources functional area: benefits, compensation, employee relations, recruitment, and/or training
At least two (2) years of working experience in employee rewards and compensation strategies
At least two (2) years of working experience in employee management
Some experience with succession planning and workforce planning
Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment compliance regulations
Strong organizational and time management skills
High attention to detail
Strong communication skills; both oral and written
Ability to objectively and professionally coach employees and management through complex, confidential, and difficult employee issues
Ability to recognize problems and issues and then propose and implement effective solutions informed by judgment that is consistent with organizational policies, practices, and standards while maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations
Ability to adapt successfully to changing situations and environments while dealing with shifting priorities, assignments, and workloads
Ability to persist positively in the face of unexpected difficulties
Ability to build and maintain effective and constructive relationships
Ability to demonstrate honesty and integrity in dealing with people
Ability to work cooperatively with others toward common objectives, demonstrate respect for the ideas and contributions of other team members, cultivate positive relationships with other associates, and provide guidance and support to others
Ability to engage in a continuous process of self-development, identifying and addressing learning and development needs to enhance own performance
Preferred
Human resources experience in a higher education environment
Certified HR professional with a robust HR skillset
