Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Atomization (Onsite)

Responsibilities
Break down complicated systems into individual pieces to improve productivity
Visualize improvement opportunities and convert into processes that meet aerospace quality standards
With assistance from the Engineering Manager, determine justification, develop project schedules and identify opportunities and risks associated with ideas; develop risk mitigation strategies to manage risk
Prepare technical specifications and other documents that can be used to procure technical services and products or work instructions
Responsible for projects and/or multiple tasks within functional discipline making for significant contribution to their team by applying their knowledge
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in in a STEM field and 5 or more years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, materials management, project management, or closely related industrial environment OR a Masters' Degree and minimum 3 or more years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, materials management, project management, or closely related industrial environment
Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Familiar with mechanical design, pneumatics/hydraulic, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics and heat transfer
Demonstrated understanding of the fundamentals of the discipline and role including statistical process control and data analytics
Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes
Preferred
Engineering degree (chemical, manufacturing, material science, mechanical, etc.)
Understanding of continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma and LEAN
