Learning and Development Manager
Hogan Lovells is seeking a Learning & Development Manager to join their Washington, D.C., office and drive innovative professional development programming for attorneys and business services personnel across the Americas. This role involves designing and delivering engaging curricula, applying adult learning principles, and collaborating with leaders to enhance learning initiatives.

Responsibilities
Lead design and development of attorney learning programs, workshops, and practice-specific initiatives
Apply instructional design and adult learning theory to create engaging, competency-based content
Deliver and facilitate impactful sessions across in-person, virtual, and blended formats
Conduct needs analyses and use feedback/data to continuously improve offerings
Partner with practice leaders, subject matter experts, and attorney talent teams to tailor content
Mentor Learning & Development Coordinators and oversee program execution logistics
Leverage LMS and digital tools to enhance accessibility and innovation
Qualification
Required
7+ years of professional development experience
Strong project management skills with proven success in complex environments
Experience facilitating, public speaking, and designing learning programs
Excellent writing, editing, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
5+ years of supervisory/management experience preferred
Master's degree in a related field or JD highly desirable
