Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on general plant electrical equipment such as starters, start/stop stations, motors (up to 480V)
Service and repair of production related electrical equipment including knowledge of power distribution and lighting systems, AC/DC motors and transformers, machine and line control devices, fluid control and distribution, electronic controls and instrumentation, variable frequency drives, and basic PLC knowledge/ interpretation capabilities
Ability to demonstrate safe practices and tools for while working with low voltage and medium voltage electrical systems and components
Operate & maintain shop tools and equipment, such as pipe threader and band saw
Demonstrate good working knowledge of electrical diagrams and/or circuits and utilize during troubleshooting
Must have a working knowledge of basic electrical test apparatus such as multimeters and megohmmeters
Use proper equipment to test, repair, & verify various forms of digital & analog signals

Required

1+ years' electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, technical, military, or related environment OR 2 Year Technical Degree
