Quality Engineer 3 (H/F) - NORTHWEST AEROSPACE TECHNOLOGIES, INC.

The Quality Engineer III is responsible for managing the approved Quality System, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements, while collaborating with various departments and suppliers.

Responsibilities

Manage NAT's nonconformance process, tool calibration and conduct investigations and corrective actions into product failures and external and internal non-conformities
Conduct internal and external quality audits of NAT's Quality Management System (QMS) and suppliers
Assist Quality leadership in regards to testing/inspecting process for related products
Assist testers and other personnel with the use of the various tools and testing techniques that Quality employs
Pull monthly metrics on defects, and conduct pareto analysis of defects
Conduct contract review as quality engineering focal, and ensure customer requirements are flow to the organization and suppliers as applicable
Manage document updates and approvals through internal document control system
Manage drawing review and approvals for Quality Department
Identify required tooling and inspection equipment as part of new product introduction
Serve as quality focal for Integrated Product Teams as applicable
Other duties assigned by Quality department management

Required

Four-year technical degree, preferred, or relevant training time
7+ Years of relevant industry experience
A high school diploma or GED, required
Understanding of AS9100, or ISO13485, or ITAF16949 is required
Working in ISO 9001:2015 quality systems required
Mathematical and technical skills
Investigative and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
Ability to think logically and methodically
Good interpersonal skills and organizational skills
Ability to communicate at all levels
Computer Skills (MS office products)
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
