Responsibilities

Assist with various program needs including teaching camper lessons
Filling in for staff time off blocks
Supervising campers in and around cabins and shower house
Facilitate a smooth program
Work with all age groups of campers with ages ranging from 5-18

Qualification

CPR/Basic First AidOutdoor leadershipHigh School diplomaWorking with youthSafety awarenessDecision-making skills

Required

You need a High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
You need to hold CPR/Basic First Aid OR willingness to take training (camp will provide training)
You have the ability to work with a diverse groups of youth and adults
With or without accommodation, you have the ability to travel outdoors over various terrain, responding efficiently in the event of an emergency
You have the ability to lead groups in various outdoor environments

Preferred

Have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record and willingness to drive 12 passenger vans. This camp is licensed by the State of Maine. You must meet the State of Maine requirement for driving vehicles, 'Drivers of vehicles carrying campers must be at least 21 years of age and be approved by the camp's auto liability insurer's agent.'

You have a genuine motivation to work with children in a vibrant, high-energy outdoor setting where every day is an adventure
