InternCalderys is offering an internship opportunity in their Operations Team for an EHS Intern. This role provides hands-on experience in implementing and supporting Environmental Health and Safety programs and initiatives at the plant level.

Responsibilities
Assisting in ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations while helping to promote a culture of safety and sustainability with the organization. Assisting in the development and implementation of safety and environmental programs and procedures
Collaborating with team to track and analyze workplace incidents, near misses, and safety trends. Assisting with reporting and record-keeping, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
Participate in safety committees and initiatives as assigned. Providing general administrative support as needed
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field
Must have completed sophomore year with a minimum GPA of 3.0
Must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA 3.0
Strong interest in environmental, health, and safety issues
Basic understanding of environmental and safety risk management
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Know and follow all safety rules and procedures
Preferred
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance standards
