Responsibilities

Responsible for implementing and maintaining cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting equipment and systems
Performs engineering RF/analog/digital design and measurement tasks as well as operational tests and fault isolation on radio systems
Uses a variety of test and measurement equipment to evaluate radio equipment performance
Create test strategies and specifications for new and revised assemblies
Prepare test and diagnostic software, design test fixtures, complete test procedures for new and existing products
Develop, debug, optimize test software using National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand
Document test hardware and software using computer based tools
Instruct technicians in the completion of test requirements as described above
Ensures production goals & metrics are met from a test perspective
Design, develop, and debug software applications for control/automation of test and measurement equipment using NI LabVIEW and TestStand
Support Delivery of new products to our manufacturing facility
Fixture, cable, PCB design for automated manufacturing test fixtures

Required

Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
US Citizenship

Preferred

Experience in digital, analog, and RF circuitry design/troubleshoot
Measurement of key performance parameters using analyzers, generators, oscilloscopes, and meters
Understanding of software defined radio products and communications
Expertise in evaluation of designs for testability; Working knowledge of the fundamentals of In-Circuit Test (ICT), functional board level testing, unit and system level testing, coverage analysis
Must be a self-starter, and able to work successfully with minimal supervision
NI LabVIEW/TestStand development experience
Experience working in an Agile Scrum development process
