New Grad, Entry LevelSprouts Farmers Market is excited to offer a 15-week Staff Accountant New Grad Program designed to develop the next generation of accounting professionals in the grocery retail industry. As a Staff Accountant, you’ll gain hands-on experience across core accounting functions while learning how financial operations support one of the most dynamic sectors in retail.

Responsibilities
Participate in a structured training rotation through Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory Accounting, and General Ledger functions
Learn grocery-specific accounting concepts such as spoilage, vendor rebates, and cost of goods sold (COGS)
Assist with daily journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities
Support preparation of financial statements and management reports
Perform data entry and validation in ERP/accounting systems
Collaborate with store, warehouse, and corporate teams to resolve accounting discrepancies
Assist with audit preparation, tax filings, and internal control documentation
Qualification
Required
Obtained or be in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (August 2025 - May 2026 graduates)
Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems a plus
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and teamwork skills
