DEPLOYMENT READINESS PROGRAM SPECIALIST
USAJOBS is looking for a Deployment Readiness Program Specialist to serve as a technical advisor on logistics readiness and deployment issues. The role involves providing guidance to senior leadership, reviewing operational plans for accuracy, and coordinating deployment readiness activities.

Responsibilities
Provides technical guidance to senior leadership regarding deployment readiness programs
Reviews Operation Plans (OPLANs), Concept Plans (CONPLANs), Concept of Operations (CONOPs), and Exercise Plans for currency, accuracy, and support capability
Performs deployment program analysis activities
Coordinates deployment readiness activities of subordinate Squadrons
Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship Required
Males must be registered for Selective Service
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
The incumbent will be required to complete the following mandatory trainings: Unit Deployment Manager (UDM) training, Integrated Deployment System/Logistics Module (IDS/LOGMOD) training, and Pallet BuildUp/Hazardous Cargo Preparation course
The incumbent must maintain a working knowledge of the following automated information systems: Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS), Deliberate Crisis Action Planning and Execution System (DCAPES), MyLearning Air Force Portal training website, Automated Readiness Information System (ARIS), and Aeromedical Services Information Management System (ASIMS)
One year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-09, or equivalent in other pay systems
Knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and precedents affecting deployment readiness
Knowledge of analytical and evaluative techniques related to the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems identified during review of exercise plans
Knowledge of administration processes and documentation requirements to ensure effective Group deployment readiness program management
Knowledge of logistics management operations that involve Wing-level planning, coordinating, or evaluating contingency support
Knowledge of Integrated Deployment Systems (IDS), which include logistics management information systems necessary for planning and executing deployment operations
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Preferred
Operational experience in time-phased deployments within high-altitude reconnaissance missions
Operational experience within Tanker Airlift
Experience performing as an Installation or Unit Deployment Manager
