Responsibilities
Oversees and assists with project layout and trains field engineers
Assist with management of field personnel; including DOC employed tradespeople and subcontractors
Complete look ahead schedules and provide information for schedule updates
Communicate with owner and engineer/architect personnel
Understand and track production rates and quantities for cost management
Review submittals for constructability and coordination; oversee field coordination between multiple trades
Enforce jobsite safety protocols; ensure everyone on site is aware of and following DOC safety rules and regulations
Qualification
Required
Understanding of major construction methods and procedures
Strong communication skills
In-depth understanding of field engineering principles and procedures
Understand labor trade agreements
Broad knowledge of construction practices and procedures
Four-year degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience
Minimum 3 years relevant construction experience
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with project management software and the ability to navigate CAD and BIM files/models
OSHA 30 Certification, CPR/First Aid Training and Construction Supervisor's License
