Responsibilities
Perform testing and approve inbound, in-process, and outbound sample analysis
Perform tank analyses to verify product specifications
Operate and perform troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation
Housekeeping
Perform special assignments to assist in lab and plant operations
Prepare reagents and standard for use in analyses
Qualification
Required
Bachelor Science Chemistry or Biology preferred
2+ years lab experience outside of education preferred
Lubricant testing experience is a plus!
Experience with In-Process and Final Product analyses using ICP for metals, viscometer, pour point, NOACK, density, and/or flash points is an asset
Excellent Written Communication Skills
Must work well as in a team
Attention to detail
Understand and follow Laboratory Standard Operating Procedures
Work with others to complete analytical sequences
Computer skills necessary to input and manipulate data
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, stoop, bend and climb stairs etc
