Senior Manager, Production Technology
The Walt Disney Company is focused on innovative solutions for episodic television production through its Production Technology team. The Senior Manager will be responsible for building relationships, applying technology strategically, and ensuring operational efficiency across studios and delivery platforms.

Responsibilities
Develop a deep understanding of the television production business
Build trusted relationships with senior executives and stakeholders
Apply a strategic and structured approach to technology enablement
Serve as a strategic advisor and liaison between business units and technology teams
Identify opportunities to apply technology to add value and increase efficiencies
Translate complex functional requirements into technical requirements
Collaborate closely with developers in the role of subject matter expert
Lead change management efforts to ensure business preparedness and user adoption
Lead user acceptance testing and document results as required for governance and compliance
Provide first line support for user reported issues
Develop project plans and track sprint progress
Identify and communicate risks and issues
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in any field or equivalent years of experience
10 years of overall experience working on custom software development projects
4+ years of managing a team and leading projects
Deep business domain experience within financial planning, financial reporting, ERP, or similar
Strong background in business relationship management
Highly analytical with strong data analysis skills
Ability to understand complex systems and end-to-end business processes
Ability to work at a detailed level
Ability to analyze data using a SQL database, multi-dimensional database, or Excel
Experience writing test plans and performing application testing
Experience conducting user acceptance testing
Experience with data conversion testing
Experience validating data using Excel and SQL
Experience creating training materials and training users
Comfortable working in Agile/SCRUM environment with teams of 4-8 people
Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate closely with developers and business analysts
Produces high quality written deliverables (specifications, test plans)
Advanced Excel skills to include pivot tables, vlookup, formulas
Preferred
Experience working at a major studio
Experience working in television production or distribution
Experience working on financial systems
Experience with SAP financials
Experience with Airtable
Experience with Snowflake or Oracle relational databases
Experience using Hyperion Planning
Experience with SOX applications
