NEOGOV is seeking Seasonal Conservation Educators for the Wyoming Game and Fish Department to assist with outreach and education at various camps. The role involves delivering engaging programming, educating the public about wildlife and conservation, and maintaining educational materials.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, engaging programming

Execute routine clean-up and set up of program areas

Lead safe, engaging, and fun camp experiences for all ages

Inform and educate the public about conservation and the Wyoming Game and Fish Department’s mission

Maintain education materials

Share a passion and knowledge of Wyoming's abundant wildlife, recreational opportunities, and rich natural history

Qualification

Required

Must have a valid driver's license

Preferred

Working towards or have a bachelor's degree in education, wildlife/fisheries biology, biological sciences, environmental science, ecology, outdoor recreation, or a related field

Experience working with multiple age groups in the same learning environment

Experience developing and presenting formal and informal programs

Experience safely supervising participants in an outdoor environment

Knowledge of a variety of outdoor skills, including: fishing, orienteering, backpacking, archery, canoeing, kayaking, and firearm safety

Current Wilderness First Aid/Responder and/or CPR certification
