Unit Secretary - Riley NICU - Full Time Nights
Indiana University Health is seeking a Unit Secretary for their new Neonatal Progressive Care Unit. The role involves ensuring accurate patient information, scheduling tests and procedures, and performing clerical duties to support the Patient Care Unit.

Answering phone calls
Transferring Vocera
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED required
Must be able to complete required (if applicable) training program
Requires basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Preferred
Completion of Medical Assistant, Medical Secretary classes, or equivalent experience preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA preferred
1-3 years of relevant experience in a health care setting preferred
Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred
