Responsibilities

Inspect incoming materials by verifying specifications, performing visual and measurement tests, and rejecting or returning non-compliant items
Inspect returned products to ensure they meet required specifications before re-acceptance or rejection
Monitor in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting inspections, and communicating adjustments to the production supervisor
Inspect finished products to ensure compliance, identify items requiring rework, and verify the quality of reworked items
Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing rework and waste, and entering data into the quality database
Support the organization’s quality goals by completing related tasks and contributing to continuous improvement efforts
Perform functional testing, various inspections, and audits as required
Operate analog, pneumatic, digital control, calibration, and test equipment (Inspector only)
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and related documentation
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external contacts to ensure quality standards are met
Apply shop math to support inspection and troubleshooting activities
Perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve quality-related issues

Required

Minimum of three years of experience in an industrial assembly environment
Familiarity with ISO-9001 or similar quality management systems
High school diploma or GED
Basic mathematical skills and general computer proficiency, including word processing
Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
Effective communication skills, including active listening and problem-solving
Ability to handle challenges professionally without taking issues personally
