Responsibilities

Coordinate with departments on tooling and machining issues

Manage tooling personnel within the department

Track job time

Troubleshoot tooling in the press or mill

CNC programming and operation (EDM, lathe, mill.)

Tool Design and fabrication

Mastercam programming

Work with maintenance to decrease downtime on equipment

Qualification

CNC programmingTool DesignWire EDM operationLean5S TrainingAutoCAD/SolidworksTroubleshootingTube/roll millsJourneyman status

Required

High school diploma/trade school preferred

Preferred Journeyman status

5-7 years' experience with progressive/compound/pierce and draw dies

Lean and 5S Training

Experience with tube/roll mills

Tool Design-Dies/Fixtures

Operate CNC mills and lathes

Wire EDM operation and programming

Ability to troubleshoot tooling issues

AutoCAD/Solidworks
