Senior Associate, Transaction Advisory Services

Responsibilities

Work closely with clients, managers and partners in providing financial and operational analysis with respect to buy and sell-side financial due diligence engagements
Act as the responsible party for specific engagements for both buy-side and sell-side engagements with investment banks, private equity groups and other corporate buyers
Analyze historical financial statements and evaluate operational trends
Help to lead, prepare, or delegate and oversee preparation of Quality of Earnings databooks, proof of cash exercises, and management interviews
Coordinate with the internal team and Management regarding client expectations, timing, and logistics
Effectively write and communicate the results of the findings from our procedures
Help to train and supervise lower level staff members

Required

Minimum 2 years of public accounting experience in Quality of Earnings or other Transaction Advisory Services
Excellent oral/written communication skills
Well-developed decision-making skills and initiative to make those decisions
Work calmly and effectively under pressure
Prioritize a heavy work load and remain organized
Demonstrated ability to work within a team setting
Demonstrated ability to solve problems creatively
Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point
Must be able to work additional hours as needed to meet client deliverables
Some travel is required to various client sites depending on the scope of the engagements
Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred

Licensed CPA is a plus
