Responsibilities

Plays a key role in configuring, enhancing, and supporting various Workday modules including HCM, Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Talent/Performance, Benefits, and HCM Integrations
Manages and administers Workday security groups, foundational tables, and Workday inbound and outbound HCM integrations
Partners and consults closely with leaders, business, and support teams to understand system end-user needs and provide recommendations to keep Workday business processes simple and efficient. Communicates system related enhancements, releases, and upgrades
Leads continuous improvement projects, such as improving Workday processes, workflows, integrations, and data integrity
Ensures accuracy and integrity of organizational data within the HCM
Manages Workday releases and updates, which includes researching functionality, conducting testing, and communicating options for changes or enhancements, as applicable
Provides end-user troubleshooting, issue remediation, technology request assistance, and escalation management, using ticketing or tracking systems. Monitors recurring issues, system, data, or process gaps and proactively identifies potential sources of increased efficiency and enhancements
Broadens internal knowledge of Workday through job aids and other training materials
Regularly supports People & Talent initiatives and projects by researching technology solutions and executing deliverables on time
Works closely with other team members to brainstorm, strategize, and complete ad hoc requests creatively, effectively, and efficiently
Serves as subject matter expert, mentors team members, and assists with training new team members
Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required

Must currently reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the Salt Lake City, Utah area within 90 days of offer acceptance
Ability to work on-site at the Salt Lake City office four (4) days per week, with the option to work remotely on Fridays as scheduled by the department
Work Location: This position is based in the Salt Lake City office and follows a hybrid schedule. While onboarding may include some remote flexibility, the role is expected to be primarily in-office moving forward
Knowledge of HR systems maintenance and support, including the execution of system changes (updates, integrations, new configurations) and system testing
Practical knowledge of verifying data for import into systems or for use in reports, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
Detail-oriented thinker, exhibiting strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
Ability to be a team player that contributes valuable ideas and feedback and can be counted on to meet commitments
Ability to work cross-functionally within People & Talent, as well as effectively interact with other departments
Effective listening, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in the face of ambiguity, shifting priorities, and rapid change
Ability to work with sensitive employee data, maintaining confidentiality in all situations with a keen eye for detail, quality, and accuracy
Knowledge of general human resources practices, policies, and procedures
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
5 years of Human Resources, HRIS, or Data Analytics related experience, including project coordination/management experience
Experience with configuring and maintaining HRIS/HCM systems
Experience leading HRIS projects including implementations, integration builds, functionality enhancements, and process improvement initiatives
Equivalent relevant experience performing the essential functions of this job may substitute for education degree requirements. Generally, equivalent relevant experience is defined as 1 year of experience for 1 year of education and is the discretion of the hiring manager

Preferred

Two or more years of Workday experience
Workday Pro Certification (HCM, Studio, Integrations, Core Connectors, etc.)
PHR or SHRM-CP Certification
