Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact between IT and business stakeholders for assigned domains

Facilitate discussions to understand business needs, pain points, and opportunities for improvement

Document and validate business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows

Collaborate with the Lead Business Analyst to ensure alignment with broader IT strategy and standards

Act as the application expert for systems within the assigned business domain

Provide guidance on system capabilities, limitations, and best practices

Support business users in leveraging applications effectively and identifying opportunities for optimization

Complete the intake process for new business requests

Categorize requests appropriately based upon the business request (e.g., minor work request, standard work request, urgent work request, strategic project request)

Participate in backlog grooming and prioritization sessions with business stakeholders and IT leadership

Contribute to software implementations, upgrades, and cloud migrations by providing domain-specific expertise

Collaborate with the Lead Business Analyst, IT Project Manager, and other IT members to ensure successful delivery

Assist in developing test plans, coordinating UAT, and supporting quality assurance efforts

Work with managed service providers (MSPs) and third-party vendors as needed for application support, enhancements, and implementations

Ensure vendor activities align with business needs and IT standards

Partner with the Lead Business Analyst, Business Relationship Manager (BRM), and IT Application Manager to ensure strategic alignment

Collaborate with the Data Strategy Manager on reporting and analytics needs

Work closely with the Enterprise Systems Development team to support technical requirements, integrations, and system-level testing

Required

Experience in business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and application support

Strong understanding of business processes within assigned domain(s)

Familiarity with enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, EAM, WFM) and cloud technologies

Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners

Preferred

Understanding of project management practices is a plus
