Modigent is seeking an energetic controller to manage all accounting operations for the region. The role involves overseeing month-end close, reporting, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP and corporate policies.

Responsibilities

Lead monthly general ledger close process including reconciliations and reporting

Handle year-end auditing processes

Ensure accounting activities follow US GAAP, internal controls, and corporate policies

Support analytical, planning, and cost control efforts across the business

Proactively work with operations, sales, and the rest of the finance and shared services teams to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting activities for the business

Actively assist operations with project management activities including the opening and closing of projects, forecast accuracy, under and over billings, warranty activity, change orders, revenue recognition practices, etc

Assist with maintenance of Adaptive Insights including monthly uploads and account mapping

Perform other projects and activities as requested
