Senior Accountant - Client Advisory Services
JCCS, P.C. is a well-established firm providing client advisory services for over 75 years, focusing on helping clients make informed financial decisions. The Senior Client Advisory Services Accountant will be responsible for managing client financial reporting and payroll needs, including accounting services, financial statement preparation, and payroll processing.

Responsibilities
Proficient in technical and advanced accounting systems
Performs detailed payroll functions for clients according to deadlines. This may include check processing, and quarterly payroll reports for various states and federal, for review. Compiles information for reporting purposes, journal entry and/or preparing correspondence. Processes W-2s at year end
Performs accounting functions including cash management, AR, AP, transactional processing, month-end closing, and financial reporting
Completes data entry for monthly and quarterly accounting and financial statements for timely deadlines and review process
Oversees preparation of complex payroll and accounting services
Completes and maintains complex general ledgers and financial reports
Complies with IRS, state and federal tax requirements, wage and hour, and researches clients’ questions for accuracy and compliance
Prepares year-end reporting, ready for tax preparation, prior to review
May assist clients with off-site or office location accounting functions
Onboards and train clients on financial accounting systems/software
Builds relationships with clients and interacts with integrity and honesty. Promotes JCCS and services to new and existing clients
Attends training and keeps up to date with industry, state and federal changes as well as technology updates
May assist with training and reviewing accounting, payroll and other accounting or internal activities of other staff, and takes responsibility for the quality control issues
Uses expertise to serve on JCCS committees and lead JCCS teams
Contributes significantly to marketing activities that bring in their own clients and participates in promoting new Firm services
Provides back up for other CAS staff, and may back-up front office, as required
May help provide transactional support for CAS team
Performs other duties, responsibilities and activities as assigned
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks Online, and AI-related tools
Strong organizational and time management skills
Five (5) years of accounting experience
Five (5) years of payroll processing experience
Preferred
Three (3) years of financial statement preparation, preferred
