Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an Acquisition Program Manager to directly support the Air Force Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) program. The role involves managing acquisition strategies, leading teams, and supporting program management reviews within the Department of Defense.

Responsibilities

Experience with DoD acquisition strategy and documentation knowledge to include a comprehensive understanding and ability to apply associated standards, procedures, and practices, as defined in DoDI 5000.02, AFI 63-101/20-101

Identify acquisition strategy issues and propose alternative solutions

Assist with strategic level issues and ability to work independently as well as a team member under tight deadlines with changing priorities

Possesses proven leadership, team building, strategic planning, and organizational development skills

Possesses pertinent experience with an ACAT I level program, including development of new programs with the Acquisition community

Possesses pertinent experience in the development of RFP documentation and support of Acquisition Strategy reviews

Demonstrated experience in packaging and presenting briefings for senior level reviews

Support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews, and IMP/IMS reviews

Have experience initiating and managing high visibility programs

Required

BA/BS degree and 3 years of Program Management, of which 3 year must be in the DoD
