Responsibilities
Ideal candidate will be proficient with Solid Works and PDM
Ability to design complex mechanical housings from a block diagram is very helpful
Primary duty is to work with mechanical engineers to create 3D CAD, mechanical procurement drawings and assembly drawings of complex microwave assemblies
Knowledge of multilevel BOM and Solid Works configurations
Update designs to reflect input from suppliers
Legacy projects require knowledge of Auto CAD Inventor and requires interaction with production engineering
Participate in the establishment and standardization of design rules and processes for the group
Conduct peer and design reviews as projects progress
Participate in a ticket system for assigning jobs and reporting job status to the engineering community
Qualification
Required
5+ years' experience preferred
Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent desired
Ability to develop and document design and administrative processes
Requires strong organizational skills, technical curiosity, and desire to work in fasted paced team environment
Knowledge of JIRA agile management system is a plus
U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required
