Responsibilities

Manage general ledgers for multiple entities, ensuring accurate financial entries and assisting with tax filings and preparation

Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring compliance with GAAP and proper documentation

Generate monthly/quarterly financial reports and balance sheet reconciliations, addressing discrepancies when needed

Reconcile intercompany transactions and support the consolidation of financial statements

Supervise junior accountants, reviewing their journal entries and providing mentorship

Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting issues and ensure proper documentation for month-end and year-end close

Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP

Assist with audit preparation and year-end tax filings

Investigate budget variances and support special reporting and ad-hoc projects as needed

Assist with monthly/quarterly management reporting and year-end tax preparation
