Benefits and Leave Operations Manager
Cypress HCM is seeking a Benefits and Leave Operations Manager to enhance employee experience and optimize leave programs. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing processes, and implementing improvements in benefits and leave administration.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to evaluate current processes and employee experience, understand pain points, gaps, identify improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions
In partnership with the People Services and Payroll teams, analyze current administration processes to identify and implement improvements opportunities
Evaluate effectiveness of current technology solutions (including data feeds) used in current leave administration process to identify and address opportunities
Engage with vendors on leave program operations, process, and management effectiveness to identify efficiencies, integrations, and SLA changes to deliver service aligned with our strategy and values
Evaluate existing leave administration processes for compliance and consistency and work with internal and external stakeholders to make necessary adjustments
Engage with leave and TPA vendors, responding in a timely and professional manner, escalating on topics when necessary and appropriate
Serve as an escalation point for leave management related issues, raising unresolved or escalated issues to HR leadership and/or the vendor, as applicable
Maintain confidentiality of employee communications, medical documentation and files, while maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of sensitive company and employee data
Create and maintain accurate tracking of key metrics reporting on leaves, trends, and escalations
Develop understanding of other company benefits available to employees on leave, as well as any financial responsibilities, i.e., benefits premiums they will incur while on leave
Implement other company related leave and time-off projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Experience in Benefits or Human Resources demonstrating the ability to perform the role at level, typically seen with 7+ years of professional working experience
Knowledge of global statutory leave/ benefits requirements
Knowledge of global government regulations related to leave/ benefits programs, including EEOC, ADA, HIPAA, GDPR requirements
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Proficiency in HRIS (Workday) and benefits administration software
Excellent interpersonal interaction skills, with a customer-focused and collaborative mindset
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience managing vendor relationships
Experience working with vendors providing administration of leave, disability and accommodations
Strong attention to detail
Strong cultural awareness and appreciation for diverse employee backgrounds
Proficiency in process design
Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to respond to changing priorities in a fast-moving environment/ industry
Strong growth mindset and learning agility
Ability to take a creative approach towards problem solving
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field OR equivalent experience and practical knowledge
