Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive analytical work independently, including complex tasks

Apply standard and non-standard techniques to determine the composition, properties, and structure of materials

Prepare detailed reports on analytical results for customers, including interpretation of findings

Provide technical reviews for reports prepared by other analysts

Evaluate customer requests, determine testing requirements, and prepare project quotations

Ensure adherence to schedule, budget, and performance requirements

Potentially direct phases of revenue-producing projects

Required

PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or Engineering with experience in materials characterization and surface analysis techniques

OR: MS in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or Engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience

OR: BS in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or Engineering with 5+ years of industry experience

Must have experience with the Ion-ToF tool

Familiarity with quality system documents and compliance with all system requirements

Strong analytical and judgment skills

High level of computer literacy, accuracy, and attention to detail

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously

Exceptional written communication skills
