Responsibilities
Completes general store reparative and preventative maintenance as directed by supervisor
Assesses store conditions and performs all-around maintenance and repair services in several crafts such as plumbing, general electrical repairs, basic construction, painting, and case repair
Maintains cleanliness and order in all maintenance areas and assists with janitorial tasks as needed, including trash removal and floor care
Ensures all maintenance tasks are completed in compliance with safety standards and regulations, promoting a safe shopping environment for customers and staff
Uses expertise for diagnosis and emergency repairs and provides preventative and cost-efficient repairs
Collaborates with store management and other staff to coordinate and prioritize maintenance schedules and address urgent repair needs
Performs other duties as needed or assigned by management
Qualification
Required
HS Diploma and 1-2 years of experience or associates degree
Basic skills with tools, repair procedures
Basic working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, how they work and how they are maintained
Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Interpersonal and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Coachability – ability to take constructive criticism/direction, receive feedback
Must have a valid Arizona Driver's License and a clean driving record
Must be at least 18-years old
