This role focuses on facilitating early mobility to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction while ensuring compliance with safety standards and effective communication within the care team.

(For patient care providers) Provides nursing care, ensures an environment of patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives and exhibits professionalism in nursing practice within the model of the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®

Safely transfers and ambulates patients identified by the multidisciplinary team

Communicates with the care team regarding progress and/or barriers to meeting program goals

Responsible for compliance with Organizational Integrity through raising questions and promptly reporting actual or potential wrongdoing

All other duties as assigned

Qualification

Basic Life Support (BLS)Direct patient care experienceEffective Communication Skills

One year of direct patient care experience preferred
