Responsibilities

Lead consulting engagements focused on capital project and portfolio management technology

Develop and design technical solutions, including cost estimates, project approaches, and schedules

Provide technical leadership for project and portfolio management system implementations

Ensure quality assurance and quality control for all deliverables, aligning with client needs and project standards

Guide the development of improved business processes within project and portfolio management systems

Maintain and grow client relationships through project delivery and business development support

Bring domain expertise to cross-functional teams and drive innovation initiatives in project management technology

Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff, helping develop the next generation of talent

Required

Bachelor Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field from an accredited program and 7 years of relevant experience

Excellent project and portfolio management system skills

Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills

Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment

Ability to independently solve difficult problems that require adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Demonstrated critical thinking skills

Ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines and to be effective in on-site work environments

Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, including identification of critical path items to ensure deliverable deadlines are met

Ability to focus on the big picture to effectively and efficiently provide services that meet client needs, while also having the ability to identify and analyze details that are critical to project outcomes

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT)

Preferred

Experience working with utilities, infrastructure, or large capital project environments

Deep knowledge of project management methodologies, portfolio governance, and capital project delivery practices

Skilled in technology readiness assessments, roadmapping, product selection, assessment, implementation planning and support, and other advisory services that precede PM technology implementations

Experience supporting business development efforts through contributions to proposals, presentations, and client engagement activities

Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

Strong facilitation skills with the ability to lead client workshops and executive-level discussions

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

Proven track record of delivering successful digital transformation or enterprise technology projects

Highly motivated to contribute to industry thought leadership, including presenting at industry and partner conferences, publishing insights, and representing the firm in professional forums
