Responsibilities

Oversee accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and fixed assets
Prepare, analyze and oversee consolidated financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance
Coordinate with the Controller to implement and maintain efficient financial procedures
Assist with regulatory reporting and audits to maintain compliance standards
Coordinate and manage external audits, providing leadership and oversight to ensure smooth processes
Supervise and mentor accounting staff, promoting professional development and operational excellence
Define roles, responsibilities, and workflows to optimize team efficiency and accuracy
Evaluate and improve accounting systems, processes, and procedures to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
Lead process improvement initiatives to optimize ERP system utility and overall operational efficiency
Serve as a financial leader and business partner to operating company management teams, providing financial insights and guidance to support strategic decisions
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and corporate leadership on financial and project-related matters
Complete ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as requested by controller and leadership

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required
Significant progressive accounting experience, including management experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting and accounting systems
Experience with ERP systems and advanced excel skills
Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, analytical and communication skills

Preferred

CPA Designation is highly desired
