Responsibilities

Develop new filter, oscillator and other technologies
Develop new filter and oscillator design processes and software
Perform all duties and responsibilities of an engineer
Establish practices and procedures to achieve cost, schedule, and quality objectives
Promote continuous improvement
Support sales with design, pricing, delivery, and information during the quoting process
Oversee the development and design of tooling, processes, computer, and test equipment. Support production and test

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's Degree in engineering, or other applicable technical degree
Filter tuning and design experience (hands on)
Ability to read and interpret documents
Ability to write routine technical reports and correspondence
Ability to communicate effectively to both coworkers, management, and external customers
Mathematical skills commensurate with the degree
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and compute powers in all units of measure
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret graphs
Understanding of the application of Ohm's Law
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Ability to deal with problems involving variables in a standardized and nonstandard situation
Ability to learn programs in PC DOS and Windows format
Ability to understand and master ERP systems
Ability to learn programs in other formats, such as network analyzers
Ability to create computer programs for design and testing of communication components
Ability to sit, talk and hear
Ability to use hands and fingers, handle, feel and reach with hands and arms

Preferred

Some advanced education desired
Broader experience can be obtained with on-the-job training
